COVID-19 UPDATE
Our Business is still open but it is not business as usual.
The COVID-19 virus continues to spread throughout the community. Physiotherapy is considered by the Government an essential service at this point in time and our Dulwich Hill clinic will continue to operate with strict policies on hygiene and social distancing.
Face to Face Physiotherapy in the clinic
Extra attention to social distancing - only 1 person and 1 physio in the clinic at any time
All equipment/treatment tables is cleaned thoroughly between patients
No reused towels
Patients/clients welcome to bring their own towels, masks, gloves etc. We have gloves and plenty of hand sanitiser.
More emphasis on education and exercise (the important stuff that helps you the most) rather than hands on. That said, we are still able to offer hands on treatment to those that need it.
We discourage anyone who is showing symptoms of respiratory illness eg cough, sneeze, fever, sore throat from attending. (see telehealth below)
We also discourage people with high risk of serious affects from COVID-19 from leaving the safety of their home to attend physio unless absolute necessary. These people include to elderly, those with chronic medical conditions and reduced immune function. (see telehealth below)
Physiotherapist-led exercise in the clinic
Individual 1-on-1 exercise sessions only
Sessions are at the Group exercise rate
All mats, weight, bands are cleaned after each use
Gloves can be used
feel free to bring your own mat, towels and equipment.
