Inside Our New Look Clinic, FREE Massages and Exercise Classes Galore!

By Matthew Chase

Exciting times afoot at SmartMoves physiotherapy. With recent improvements to our state of the art equipment, a structured timetable for our popular exercise classes, free massage service with a practicing student and an update on the latest scientific approach to managing soft tissue injuries!

Firstly, SmartMoves has a new look! The practice is fitted out with more equipment to help you recover from injury and get back to the life you want. Check out the new look practice with our new Google Maps virtual tour.

We are now offering 16 exercise class time-slots per week. These classes are extremely affordable and popular - giving patients an evidence-based pathway to help them out of pain and back into the life they want to live. The new structured timeline allows you to make recurrent bookings and get into a regular routine because consistency is the key to recovery :)

Additionally, SmartMoves will be hosting a student massage therapist who requires hands-on hours to finalise her certification. She will be working under the guidance of our experienced therapists. We believe that massage can be an excellent adjunct to physiotherapy and encourage anyone with niggling tight spots to seize this opportunity!

And Finally, you may have noticed some increased action over on the SmartMoves Instagram page. We are constantly trawling the latest research to keep ourselves on the button professionally and to help educate you about you body. The latest post highlights a more evidence-based approach to acute injury management that replaces the now outdated RICE method. It’s called PEACE and LOVE and favors letting the body heal naturally then slowly exposing the tissue to therapeutic activity. Check out @smartmoves on Instagram for more info.
