LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE!

A good gauge of lower limb endurance and strength is the dreaded wall sit hold!

 

Try our challenge.

Find a wall.

Back flat on the wall.

Slide back down the wall to a position like you’re sitting on an invisible chair.

Try position you hips to a 90 degree bend and your knees to a 90 degree bend

Now HOLD…

This is such a great exercise that anyone can access! Great for those of us with lower back, hip or knee niggles. This will energize and activate all the lower limb muscles in a safe (isometric) way!

So challenge goals, how long can you hold???

 

Beginner: 10-20 seconds

Intermediate: 20-40 seconds

Pro: 40-60 seconds

Warrior:  1:00 - 1:20 minutes

HERO: 1:20 minutes +
